New crypto Giveaway scam Going on right now
Yet another Bitcoin and Ethereum scam was on the play using PayPal crypto payment scheme as cover and an 8 month old video clip from the channel Unchained Podcast for convincing the victim.
The video which was being shown as LIVE by the scammer on YouTube, is actually an interview of Vitalik Buterin, one of the Co-founders of Ethereum.

The website which is being used by scammer instructs the victim to send Ethereum or Bitcoin to a particular crypto address, and in return victim will recieve twice the amount immediately. At the bottom of the website you can even see the recent transactions which took place. But looking closely at the websites source code it was revealed that the transactions which were being shown in the website were all fake, the address were generated using a simple Javascript code
and then generated and placed on the website every few seconds.
Spread this news and make sure to report the video so that you or your friends can be protected from these kind of scams. The video has ended or taken down by YouTube but the channel is still up.
